A Woman Mountaineer

She is exceptionally a socially active person, avid nature lover, and adventure enthusiast. With the exposure to both the virtual corporate world, and real mountaineering world, she finds a hidden gap in today’s lifestyle: missing exposure to the outside real world and loss of social, physical, and mental activeness.

Her Vision:

She has a vision to lead today’s generation from sedentary lifestyle to outdoor fun, socialize in person, and get rejuvenated. She leads the campaign ‘ENACT- Energise and Activate’ and gives speaker talks in colleges, conferences, and social events. She inspires people to step out and do running, cycling, yoga, hiking, sports, adventure, or just a garden walk.

Education and Profession:

Graduated from BITS Pilani, Goa (2016-2020) with B. Tech degree in Electronic and Engineering. She pursued a 6 months undergraduate thesis at IIM-Ahmedabad- A research project on Shadow Education.

Bhakti is currently working at Bank of New York (BNY) in Pune as Quantitative Analyst for FX Options pricing. She previously worked at Credit Suisse (UBS) in Market Risk Analyst and Independent Pricing teams. She has a total 3.5yrs of professional experience in the financial services industry. She is also an investor managing her equity portfolio.

Outdoor Adventure:

Apart from regular office job, she has excelled in outdoor adventure like mountaineering, rock climbing, skiing, and leading treks. She has completed various mountaineering training courses with government certifications of Alpha grades. She has also received best performance awards from various institutes.

Hobbies: She is a regular cyclist, runner, trekker, and culture explorer. She does yoga, meditation, and workouts regularly starting from 5am. She also participates in fun and adventure events like Devil’s circuit and Spartan race.

Himalayan Hiking:

She has hiked across various Himalayan destinations like Kedarnath, Tungnath, Satopanth lake, Hemkund sahib, Valley of Flowers, Parvati Valley, Kheerganga, Hampta Pass, Indrahar Pass, Dalhousie, Leh, Sonamarg, and much more.

One of the youngest speakers for the event ‘Zara Hatt Ke’ inspiring 1000+ people on the importance of going out and being physically and socially active.

BITS Pilani, Goa- Jan 2022

She shared her exceptional mountaineering journey, and inspired the college youth to follow their passion with strategic time and energy management. Led a group of 40 students to a nature resort and organized hiking and fun events.

Gujarat Yog Board

Inspired 100+ kids on the importance of sports and outdoor activities.

Leading Events:

Trek leader, Ramblers India, Mumbai

Led weekend treks in Sahyadri range managing people and performing fun team games.

Senior instructor, Invincible NGO, Ahmedabad

Led 50+ weekend treks in Gujarat managing the cohort of 200+ people. Led campsite development projects involving construction, inventory management, staff work allotment.

Gujarat Coastline cycling expedition- 1600 km

Co-led a team of 17 cyclists, managing their accommodation, food, and schedule for 13 days of cycling. Collaborated with sponsors for funding and media for outreach.
